Art journal

Były juz kartki, tagi i layout'y. Czas na coś nowego! Tym razem zainteresowałam się art journal'em. Tu można się "wyżyć" artystycznie :-)  Farby dylusions, maski + pasta sktrukturalna, gesso białe lub czarne, mgiełki, kredki akwarelowe i gelatos. I oczywiście stemple! Poniżej kilka najnowszych wpisów.

So far I've presented here my cards, tags and layouts. Now it's time to show something new! This time I got interested in art. journals which let you show your creativity. I use dylusions paints, masks, modeling paste, white and black gesso, mists, watercolour crayons and gelatos. The last but not the least are stamps! Below you can see a few of my latests works.

Styl shabby

Dość rzadko mam okazję przygotować kartkę w stylu shabby. Znaczna większość moich prac jest pełna energii i kolorów, więc tym razem postanowiłam zmienić styl. Aby to osiągnąć użyłam: metalowych dodatków, kwiatów zrobionych z beżowego i brązowego papieru, ślicznego, malutkiego aniołka, guzika i białych spinaczy. Tło tworzą papiery scrapbookowe imitujące deski i dwa rodzaje koronki różnej wielkości i kolorach. Trzy listki, które pokolorowałam tuszem distress (vintage photo) są prawie niewidoczne, a kokardka z białego sznurka dopełnia całości.

Rarely do I have an opportunity to make a shabby card. Most of my cards are vibrant and full of colours. So this time I decided to change the style. That’s why I used metal embellishments, flowers made of  beige and brown paper, a tiny and cute angel, a button and two white pegs. To make the background I used two types of scrapbooking paper imitating planks and laces of different colours and sizes. Three leaves which I coloured with distress ink ( vintage photo) are almost invisible. The bow made of white twine adds the final touch.

Babeczkowa kartka

Tym razem dość nietypowa kartka. Po pierwsze, zarobiona ze skrawków papierów o różnych wzorach- kwiatki, kratka i imitacja koronki. Po drugie, jedynymi ozdobnikami są obrazki pysznych babeczek i guzik z przewiązaną wstążeczką. Brak innych popularnych ozdób, typu papierowe kwiaty wcale nie odebrało uroku tej kartce.

This time I'm presenting an usual card . Firstly, it's made with scraps of scrapbooking papers in different patterns- flowery, checked and imitating lace. Secondly, to decorate the card I only used pics of delicious muffins and a button with a ribbon. Although, I haven't used the most popular embellishments such as flowers, the card still looks cute.

Urodzinowe kartki

Dzisiaj prezentuję dwie bardzo ukwiecone, urodzinowe  kartki. Do dekoracji wykorzystałam przeróżne kwiatki i kwiatuszki oraz listki i inne dodatki, które zazwyczaj pasują do takich kompozycji. Tekturkowe dodatki i napisy pomalowałam tuszem Distress (zielony) lub splashem (biały) z 13arts. Niedawno mój zbiór powiększył się o kolejny folder do embossingu, który wykorzystałam do stworzenia tła w kartce z okazji 70-tych urodzin.

Today I’m presenting two flowery birthday cards. To decorate them I used flowers in different sizes and colours and other embellishments which usually I use in this type of compositions. I used green Distress ink and white splash by 13arts to colour chipboards. Recently I’ve bought another embossing folder which I used to create the background in the card for sb’s 70^th birthday.

To mój pierwszy art journal w życiu. Już od jakiegoś czasu oglądałam przepiękne art journale na Pintreście, aż wreszcie sama zabrałam się do pracy. Do przygotowania tej pracy użyłam niebieskiej mgiełki 13arts, białego gesso i tuszy Distress różnego koloru.

This is the first art journal in my life. I'd admired wonderful art journals on Pintrest for some time and finally I decided to give it a whirl. To make this art journal I used blue mist by 13arts, white gesso and Distress inks in various colours.

Imieninowo

Po dłuższej przerwie wracam z kolejną kartką, tym razem imieninową. Troszkę bardziej stonowana niż poprzednie, bożonarodzeniowe kartki i ozdoby. Po raz pierwszy użyłam w kartce tak szerokiej koronki i od razu stałam się jej wielka fanką, bo pięknie tworzy tło. Do stworzenia tej kartki użyłam moich ulubionych dodatków:  malutkich różyczek, guziczka w kształcie kwiatka i perełek.

After quite a long break, I'm presenting today yet another name day card. This one is less colourful than some  Christmas cards and decorations I made last time. For the first time I've used such wide lace and I loved it from the start as it creates a beautiful background. I've used my favourite ornaments: tiny paper roses, a button in the shape of a flower and pearls.
